Company Profile

PSA is now part of McKesson and two exceptional companies have come together to help customers deliver better financial and clinical health. PSA is a leading provider of business services and support to independent pathology practices and clinical laboratories. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive business solutions to clients seeking to gain a competitive advantage within their markets. While supporting your choice to remain independent, PSA enables you to participate in a cooperative environment with pathologists and laboratories nationwide. PSA's services assist clients in optimizing collections, facilitating additional referrals, acquiring new technology at preferred pricing, and exchanging knowledge with peers across the US, while avoiding compliance pitfalls.

Through an integrated approach of billing and collection services, practice marketing support, and business support services, PSA offers clients the opportunity to enhance revenue and retain their independence. PSA services include:

In addition to these services, PSA constantly works with payors, vendors, and government agencies to support the business success of all PSA affiliated clients.

In 1995, PSA was founded by physicians in five South Carolina pathology practices. These forward-thinking groups aligned themselves in a network that enabled them to successfully compete for statewide contracts and afforded them a unique opportunity to share services, including billing and purchasing, marketing, education, and compliance.

PSA currently services over 100 affiliated practices in 32 states. The PSA network is a nationwide affiliation of pathologists and clinical laboratories who desire to run their practices as a business, and have the advantage of a team of experts for their "back-office solutions" so that they can focus on providing quality community pathology and laboratory services.

This network provides an unparalleled opportunity to learn from the best and the brightest. The physicians in this network have experienced nearly every issue a practice can encounter, and the networking among the practices is an amazing tool for effective decision making.
